The Sydney Olympic Park offers easy transport options and greater accessibility.

CeBIT Trains

BY TRAIN

Regular service – 30 minute service

The regular train service will also be in operation. This takes 20 minutes from Central Station to Lidcombe Station and then 5 minutes from Lidcombe Station (Olympic Park Sprint Platform) to Olympic Park Station. Olympic Park Sprint leaves Lidcombe station at 10 minute intervals.

Directions

With 10,000 car parking spaces on-site, Sydney Olympic Park is centrally located just 14 kilometres from the Sydney CBD, 19 kilometres from Sydney Airport and 8 kilometres east of Parramatta CBD.


Parking

Sydney Olympic Park offers a number of parking options:


  • Free time-limited parking is available throughout the Park
  • Casual parking is $5 an hour or $25 for the day at P1 Car Park (entry is via Edwin Flack Ave cnr Old Hill Link)
  • To guarantee a car space pre-book your parking – simply logon to the Sydney Olympic Park website
  • Motor bike parking is available on Herb Elliott Avenue, the corner of Murray Rose Avenue and Parkview Drive, P1 Car Park and P6 Car Park

ACTIVITIES

Build team morale, entertain clients! CeBIT Australia has created an activities program for your staff, clients and guests to make the most of your visit to Sydney Olympic Park.

1. ARCHERY

Shoot, bond and laugh your way through fun, interactive and competitive rounds of archery. Kick off your session with coaching from a skilled instructor as you prepare to shoot for the top and strive for gold!

2. LASER CLAY

Experience the excitement of shooting clay pigeons as they fly through the air. This interactive activity uses authentic 12 gauge shotguns that have been converted to fire infra-red beams.

3. BICYCLE HIRE

With 35kms worth of cycling parkways, explore one of the world’s great parks. Cycle through Olympic icons. Discover spectacular landscaped woodlands. Relax in the vast parklands.

4. SEGWAY ADVENTURES

Riding a Segway is always fun but Segway Games are fantastic! Once the basic riding skills are mastered, the games can begin such as Segway Gymkhana, Segway Polo, Clumsy Waiter, Giant and Mini Slalom and Relays.

5. ACQUATIC CENTRE

Backstroke, freestyle, butterfly or even dog paddle in the pool of champions. Relax in the leisure pool area which includes five spas, river rapid ride, spurting volcanoes and bubble beach, surrounded by lush palm trees and colourful mosaics.

ENTRY CONDITIONS

  • CeBIT Australia is a trade-only event, and is not open to the general public.
  • You must be over 18 and currently employed by a private or public sector organisation, or a business owner to attend the event.
  • Special arrangements for relevant tertiary IT courses to bring in students under supervision can be made by contacting Hannover Fairs Australia. Otherwise students will not be admitted.
  • Entry is granted to all visitors on the understanding that they do not attempt to canvass CeBIT Australia exhibitors.
  • Any visitor found to be breaching this requirement will be asked to leave by the Organiser.
