About Teresa Harding

Teresa Harding was appointed to the newly created role of Director Open Data Policy for the Queensland Government in October 2015. She leads the co-ordination of open data policy and open data initiatives across government to position Queensland as a leading jurisdiction in the release and utilisation of data and information now and into the future.

Prior to her current role, Teresa worked in the Department of Defence as an Enterprise Architect Project Manager and spent seven years working on the F111 fighter jets at RAAF Base Amberley where she led the organisation to maintain and later decommission the fleet of 36 F111 fighter jets. Her claim to fame is that she had the good fortune to fly the F111 in its final year of service. Prior to Defence she was a Regional Sales Manager for two IT companies for a decade.
