As Managing Director of Hannover Fairs Australia and organiser of CeBIT Australia, part of the global Deutsche Messe group, the largest and most successful trade event company in the world, Jackie is one of Australia’s leading and most influential businesswomen.
Now in its 11th year, Jackie has built CeBIT Australia into the leading business technology event in the Asia Pacific region, attracting more than 30,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors from Australia and overseas. During its lifetime, it is estimated that CeBIT Australia has delivered more than AUD$2 billion of economic value to Australia.
Hannover Fairs Australia assists Australian companies develop their export programs by participating in more than 80 trade exhibitions that Deutsche Messe organises in Europe, Asia and America. At flagship events like CeBIT and Hannover Messe, Jackie has facilitated many meetings and opened doors for Australian government, research and corporate organisations to form partnerships with their German and European counterparts.
Jackie has worked with governments, State and Federal, to promote business growth and marketing opportunities by inviting to Australia and hosting more than 100 international delegations, with some of the world’s leading corporate and political figures.
With an extensive background in teaching and computing, Jackie has focussed for more than 20 years on best practice conference and exhibition management and international trade development. A regular speaker in the region on topics such as business growth and development, innovation and technology, Jackie has recently been appointed to the position of Councillor of the German Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
