Tina Campbell

Director, Real Time Health

Tina Campbell is the founder of Speaking From Experience and RealTime Health. She is a pioneer in ‘patient narrative’ resource development having collaborated with peak health support organisations since 1998 to develop a digital repository of Australian patient and carer experiences. As one of Australia’s authorities in narrative-based health promotion, she has a strong interest in the use of online and mobile technologies to enable broad access to narrative resources and interventions.

Tina is currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for Health Policy, Programs and Economics at the School of Population Health, The University of Melbourne. Her research project is a randomised controlled trial evaluating the effectiveness of a ‘patient narrative’ intervention program to improve self-efficacy and self-care behaviours in patients with newly diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes.
