Kaila Colbin

Founder and Director, Missing Link

Kaila is one of the founders of the non-profit Ministry of Awesome, co-founder of project management training company Falcon Training, and the founder of social media marketing consultancy Missing Link. She is also one of just 17 New Zealanders who trained with Al Gore to deliver the Inconvenient Truth presentations, and publishes a weekly column for the U.S.-based blog Online Spin. Kaila recently stepped down from her role as CMO and founder shareholder of the kids’ virtual world MiniMonos.com (which she took from zero to 750,000 registered members) to focus exclusively on the Christchurch rebuild. A native New Yorker, she is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Italian, holds a degree from Cornell University, and has been a serial entrepreneur since 22.
