Current Vacancies:

Sales Executive (CeBIT Australia)
Salary: $40K per annum + Super + Commission
Type: Perm (subject to 3 month probationary period)

Selling an exhibition at HFA means selling a powerful and proven concept of face-to-face interaction between buyers and sellers, in our case for the ICT industry. This includes selling floor-space, sponsor- and branding opportunities, seminar segments and creating a tailored opportunity for the client to market himself to his key audiences.

Your role will be telesales based from our Sydney office, developing and building rapport with key potential exhibitors and sponsors for CeBIT Australia and DMAG worldwide events.

The ideal candidate for this Sales role needs the following attributes:

  • Confident and Outgoing

We are looking for people with a proven track record in sales. Knowledge and experience from the following would give you a head start:

  • Advertising/Media Sales
  • Exhibition and Conference Sales

Sales Representative (CeBIT Australia)
Salary: $18 per hour + Commission
Type: Casual/Contract

Junior Digital Designer (CeBIT Australia)
Start: Immediate
Type: Contract role / Internship
Location: Surry Hills, Sydney


Australia’s leading trade event organiser is looking for a graphic / multimedia design intern or recent graduate to produce the company’s printed and electronic promotional material.

The successful candidate will be required to co-operate with the lead designer and a web developer on graphic, website design and developments.

Skills and experience
  • Minimum 1 year business experience in corporate graphic/multimedia design, such as creating logos, buttons, print ads, brochures, on-line ads (flash/gif animation)
  • Knowledge of web design (HTML & CSS),
  • Very good understanding of printing production, such as resolution, bleeding, trimming, colour types, ink density, etc.
  • Experience in on-line video production and marketing knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Able to use the following software (windows platform):
    • Photoshop CS4
    • Illustrator CS4
    • InDesign CS4
  • Able to create various creative for the following types of materials
    • Logos
    • Flyers
    • Brochures
    • Newspaper and magazine ads
  • Understands the difference between various media and how to achieve the best results for each (eg, an ad in a hi-res magazine vs a low-res on-line banner)
  • Capacity to follow and maintain the corporate design standards and style of company promotional material
  • Open minded to other people’s suggestions and try to get the best result
  • Sound communication skills, able to explain ideas in plain English not technical jargon, and to follow guidelines from people not conversant with the technical language of graphic design.
  • Able to handle pressure and stress in a continuous deadline-driven environment
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Self- starter, able to work as part of a team in a young and dynamic work environment
