CeBIT Australia's Gov Tech show floor area is the region's premier venue for showcasing the latest products and processes for the public sector. As the largest buyers of technology solutions around the world, spending $6 billion yearly in Australia alone, governments have a keen interest in identifying the trends, tools and technologies that will help them streamline service delivery, offer value-for-money and better engage with citizens.

CeBIT's Gov Tech expo area provides a vibrant, well-defined and comprehensive area where government procurement managers and departmental decision makers and evaluators can easily find the latest technology solutions to serve the needs of government and citizens.

Representatives of government departments and agencies come to CeBIT's Gov Tech area to seek out the latest innovations and products that will streamline their processes and deliver improved services to their stakeholders. Exhibitors from across Australasia and around the world display their latest-to-market products and processes in areas as diverse as geospatial solutions and identity management and security systems. The area also encompasses the social media tools and services that are driving greater collaboration, engagement and consultation between governments and citizens.
