Stewart Taggart is founder of DESERTEC-Australia, an organisation which supports the large-scale development of solar energy from arid, desert areas of the world. He is also a director of Acquasol Infrastructure Ltd, company building a world-first concentrating solar powered desalination plant in Australia. He believes data centres, with their massive energy needs, can play a catalytic role in encouraging the development and use of renewable, low emission energy around the world.
