eGovernment Forum

Delivering open government

Australia's premier public sector technology summit, CeBIT Australia's eGovernment Forum covers important topics from the opportunities of open government through to the transformational power of web technologies on service provision to communities.

eGovernment Forum at CeBIT Australia 2010 united local and global public sector experts and officials from all levels of government. CeBIT Australia's eGovernment Forum was a unique opportunity to help set Australia's agenda. Delegates from the eGovernment Forum gained an understanding of the possibilities and practicalities of engaging communities through online tools and encouraging "talkback". They found out how Web 2.0 is being used to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing by government departments. Visions for the future of participatory government were shared.
