Government 2.0 Conference 19 October 2009

Implementing Web 2.0, blogs, social media and multimedia tools
The Gov 2.0 Conference is a case study driven event showcasing government projects that leverage the Web as a platform to create openness of public sector information, greater transparency of policy making and increased citizen-centric engagement. The conference will provide practical insights, expert advice and solutions on how to implement online engagement within government parameters and manage cultural change.
The conference will bring government leaders, practitioners and innovators of Web 2.0 together in an interactive format and will deliver feedback about the issues raised at the event to the Government 2.0 Taskforce.
In addition to sharing experiences, challenges and solutions at the conference, all delegates will be able to participate in event discussions via a Twitter wall and a blog to capture thoughts and feedback on ideas presented.
